  1. What falking islands? There’s loads of falking islands!

  2. Looks he doesn’t have non negotiable sovereignty over a haircut

  3. Good luck with that one lmfao

Could keep them popular at home if all they do is fluff their feathers. Better not actually act on it at all.

  4. you need a working economy before you can wage war, chainsaw man

  5. All Argentinians presidents since the war have said this.

  6. he’s kinda right- their level of sovereignty over the falklands IS non-negotiable…they have none.

  7. From the article: “Mr Milei, 53, said in the debate: “We had a war – that we lost – and now we have to make every effort to recover the islands through diplomatic channels.”

  8. British Government would very much love to engage in this as a distraction so please go ahead and FA because they will indeed FO.

*In article, he’s talking through diplomatic means.

  9. Their country is suffering from hyper and uncontrollable inflation along with crippling food supplies, high unemployment and high overall poverty. But by all means focus on the falklands.

  10. Yeah you already tried this before, and got your ass kicked.

Also the islanders themselves have made it VERY clear that they want to stay British.

  11. This guy is more moderate than the left wing on this. The first step for Americans and Europeans when learning about Argentinian politics is to forget everything they know.

  12. This has been Argentinas stated position for years . Nothing new is being said

  13. OK… Who had “Falklands War II – This time it’s personal” on their doomsday bingo card…?

  14. I just want to hear a News caster accidentally say “the fucking Islands” again

  15. Ok so one of the first things in office is to show impotent he is…let the nuttiness flow

  16. I still remember the “Falk Off Argentina” T-shirts from the last time they had this thought

  17. This time the British actually have working aircraft carriers. Falkland War 2 Argentine Boogaloo?

  18. That was what, one day before he needed to play the jingo card?

  19. That and 6979 pesos will get you a tiny cup of coffee in Buenos Aires

  20. This is a non-story.

*Every* Argentine president since the war has said some variation of this. Falklands (or Malvinas) is still a major topic in Argentine national consciousness.

  21. Argentina really needed a clown in command on top of all the crap they are enduring. I guess you just gotta grab popcorn and watch what promises to be a dumpster fire.

  22. Yeah… They have modern-ish upgraded A-4 Skyhawks… You know, from VIETNAM?

Something tells me the Brits aren’t feeling any pressure, there…

  23. One thing Argentina’s history teaches us is that no matter who’s in charge, they’ll fuck it up even worse than before.

  24. This idiot is going to start a war. Even a weak UK will end up kicking his ass.

  25. Fight the British Navy–no really, go ahead, I need a good distraction.

  26. Argentina is still using the same Skyhawks that it was using ‘81 lmao, and they also lack the carriers or battleships they had then. Nothing will happen, this is just grandstanding
