The great fake horse photo scandal of 2021. Ye gave this guy 2,000 upvotes?!

  1. I wondered why TF this got so popular and just assumed it was a running joke because it screamed fake and thought everyone was in on it!

  2. >”This looks shopped, I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time”

  3. Not the first bit of fakery on here, shant be the last.

There was a post before Christmas by a person who said they had been homeless (with lots of shocking details) but had got himself sorted and earned a degree.

    Loads of positive supportive comments.

No one bother to check his posting history but it was a series of tall tales so while he might have been telling the truth about the homelessness and earning a degree, given he’d previous said in the preceding 6 months variously that he was an 18 year old girl and bored on one of the adult subs, was a non-English language speaker, an 18 year old traveller with phimosis and a “homosexual” applying for IT jobs I’d have my doubts.

  4. Guys, I have news for you about half the shitty, half-assed so-called photography that gets posted online and upvoted to the FUCKING MOON.

  5. Yeh it’s weird I remember the guy said he just sharpened the horses a bit…so odd.

I mean there’s nothing wrong with taking stock images and making digital art…but why try to pass it off as a ‘photograph’.

  6. And you’re offended enough to make a post in 2022 about it? They’re only up votes. Plus most of what you see on reddit is faked or stolen.

  7. Glad someone did a deeper dive on this. I remember seeing the original post and laughing at the absurdity of it.
