It’s interesting how with the previous Defense Minister every visit felt like nothing more than a photo op, and just putting a different person at the head of the ministry has completely changed the perception.
Even without the Taurus missiles Germany is doing some seriously heavy lifting compared to its European partners.
The UK, NL are constantly “escalalating” deliveries (1st to deliver new capabilities) and Germany picks up that gauntlet and runs with it. They have been criticized for Scholzing a lot of the deliveries, but once the Germans get going.. boy do they get going.
