  1. I get the feeling that these wars today are more about escapism than justice. We got so many bigger problems but you know, those are hard and require serious change. Yelling at foreign powers while the asshole on TV tells us everything is their fault is just so much easier.

  4. 1. I still remember what happened in Mexico a few weeks ago with a tropical storm that turned into a cat 5 in less then a day, and compeatly wrecked a city.

  11. Well, if you delete every car in existence today by magic, it’s just 11% of global emissions. EVs ain’t changing shit. Until everyone starts talking about the real problem, which is Chinese emissions (35% global for a single countr), nothing is changing…

  16. I’ve stopped worrying about it.

    This planet will undergo a serious temperature swing over the next few hundred years.

    Food as we currently know it will become more scarce. Our current crop production areas will no longer function as they do. The population of humanity will crash to a low not seen in hundreds or thousands of years…this will be a mix of shrinking due to low birth rates plus mass starvations.

    If we’re lucky, humanity won’t go extinct and will come out of this smarter, improved and will have addressed the issues we caused.

    If we continue as is with geopolitical boundaries, global military industrial complexes and wealth inequality gaps, we will probably be extinct within 200 years.

  17. Can’t they just shut up? How many years since they nagging on the greenhouse effect? I didn’t feel any warmer or colder, so where the effect is or it just a stupid thing for funds created by stupid experts or politicians. Only pigs do believe what a thing like Global Warming.

  23. Most of the rise came from China (which polluted more than the western world combined), India, and developing countries.

    Information now looks like any reduction of CO2 in the west will be offset by pollution in developing and non western countries.

    The west can consume and import less and hold other countries accountable. Along with nuclear power.

    That’s the only way.
