  1. Shinnerbots on here when they see their twitter handle in the screenshot

  2. Sour-faced cunt isn’t sectarianism. It’s just drawing attention to this cunts sour face.

  3. Any time I see Sam McBride, I can practically smell the stale tea and plain digestive breath through the screen.

  4. Totally normal behaviour on x, you post something people don’t like and get ratioed, would be the same no matter what group of people you offended. No point crying about it and making it out only the provos do it (I also think Sam is one of the better journalists in this part of the world)

  5. Can we stop pretending that this doesn’t happen when you criticise ANYTHING on twitter?

  6. A lot of the comments are fair, he has written an absolute shite article using the slaughter of 5000 kids in Gaza to score points on SF.

Some are unfair, ie planter etc.

  7. Sam McBride is such crying cunt man, every single person with a large enough following gets this sort of thing when they post something. Especially something which is outright ahistorical like that nonsense article he wrote.

  8. The bloke wrote an article designed to bait (really comparing the troubles,to an ongoing genocide in Gaza is not journalism of an Reasonable standard)….people got baited, kinda looks like he’s found his expected level of engagement

  9. Frightening to see how many here are normalising abuse – sectarian or otherwise – on social media.

This is why we can’t have nice things.

  10. Name calling doesn’t improve discourse. I think there’s a difference when people attack you personally, instead of attacking what you’ve written.

  11. How are Israeli war crimes and the IRAs actions similar ?

  12. The good thing is, it’s normally a few extremely active Republican accounts on either site that dominate the replies, you block them and it usually resolves itself. Ironically a lot of the accounts I’ve had to block are in here falling over themselves trying to justify the harassment or nitpick certain parts of the tweet to rage about.
