Worry less about TikTok and Bin Laden — fret more that Mike Johnson shares the terrorist’s view – By calling America “dark,” “depraved,” and “irredeemable,” the GOP speaker may as well be citing Al Qaeda’s leader

  1. >>The main difference of opinion between the two religious radicals is what flavor of far-right religious oppression they prefer: Christian or Muslim?

This is the actual truth. People who have apocalyptic fantasies of a theocratic state have no business being second in line to the presidency

  2. Pervert speaker Mike Johnson is talking about himself, as all Republicans do.

A man who can, with a straight face, admit that he roped his child into his porn addiction on national TV is certainly capable of worse depravity.

  3. I don’t know about ya’ll, but I don’t worry about Bin Laden all that much nowadays…

  4. He believes that Christians have one more chance to convert or purge the world of percieved pagans before the judgment day. I wish they would all be raptured already and leave non Bible thumpers alone.

  5. Mike Johnson thinks about sex and especially gay sex, A LOT. His entire career seems to have been centred around it, & even his wife is a professional ‘thinker about gay sex’.

Which seems super weird don’t you think? Hardcore Christians are absolutely obsessed with sex, it is literally all they ever talk about.

  6. He’s actually just projecting his own self hatred based on his hidden sexuality I would guess. Evangelicals have a whole lot of weird stuff going on and almost all of it surrounds sex.

  7. We most definitely are dark and depraved and jerks like him or a major reason why. But let’s not kid ourselves. Bin Laden started this tailspin.

We never recovered from the planes striking the world trade center. It led to a major influx of xenophobia and fear. Social media, while it may have been a nice intention has poured gasoline on an uncontrolled fire.

And now people like Mike Johnson decided to drop constant bombs to make sure the fire keeps exploding

And while it is entirely disproportionate, in terms of who is stoking the fires, I have personally been victimized by those on extreme left as well.

The. you throw in economic chaos. People have no money. You have flash mobs coming in and robbing stores which is going to put the future of brick and mortar in doubt.

I am reaching a point where I don’t know if anything is redeemable which really scares me, considering I have two small children

  8. The TikTok Bin Laden thing wasn’t even a relevant story until [a shady journalist](https://lamag.com/featured/yashar-ali) acted like it was a huge deal. [After that, and The Guardian’s removal of the letter,](https://www.washingtonpost.com/style/2023/11/16/guardian-osama-bin-laden-letter-to-america/) it blew up on TikTok. It then proceeded to get a lot of traction on Instagram and Twitter as well as TikTok. This completely manufactured story is being used by people who don’t like TikTok because of the large amount of pro-Palestinian content on the app.
