Adare is a fucking nightmare this is so long overdue, to a degree where I don’t even want to rip the piss that a sports event that’s an ecological shit show is the reason a new road is being made by the green minister

I swear this was one of the criteria for the Ryder Cup going to Adare. That a certain someone may either get the bypass built or fund it themselves
But I thought relying on shitty public transport was the solution to all road problems?

a new road in galway to relieve chronic commuter traffic will cause induced traffic, kill the planet, and needs emergency legislation to prevent it, but we need to fast track a new road for the fancy rich golfers?

Shame JP doesn’t own anything by the airport or specifically in it just under terminal 2.
Words are cheap. Let’s see if the greens tie up the project for years in objections and appeals. In particular it’s hard to see the serial objectors in An Taisce letting any road development through unopposed.
That road is a mess & needs to be bypassed. It holds up traffic for half the county at rush hour. Do it, do it 10 yrs ago!
