  1. The way things are going, some Americans will gladly and openly support fascism if it means that their team wins.

  2. Im not from the US but Germany and this stuff is really frightening. Dear US, please get your act together and dont repeat the mistakes we already made.

  3. He just spent 3 years telling us some of the fascist are good people. He needs to make up for that now.

  4. Well, it’s *finally* starting to look like the mainstream media has come to the realization that if trump gets back in the White House he’ll also be coming after them.

  5. Replace fascism with the word communism and people who vote for Trump will probably try to hang him.

  6. Says Joe, who knowingly and willingly helped Newt Gingrich create the GQP that was designed for takeover by Trump. He really does not want people to remember who he was until his 2017 “Epiphany”.

  7. People who are paying attention have been calling it that for years while Joe has been insisting that we need to “reach across the aisle” and that some of the fascists on the right are “good people” and that America “needs a strong Republican party”.

So Joe has a lot of making up to do if he doesn’t want this to be some empty words come too little, too late.

  8. Here you have it…

    Fascism
    Political ideology
Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/ FASH-iz-əm) is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement, characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived …

Does that sound like DJT to you?

  9. This last 4 years has been the worst ever. Having President Trump back in 2024 will be so refreshing. Can’t wait

  10. Support Ukraine to defeat ruzzia on the battlefield, vote blue to defeat their disinformation machine at home.

  11. Biden is certainly pretty fascist.

Most Americans have no idea what fascism, and think it’s something like the extreme right wing.

In reality, Biden’s (and the neoliberal DC consensus economic hegemony in general) is far closer to actual fascism than any scary fringe “right wing” group, or Donald Trump.

It feels like the DNC establishment has gotten you the point where they just rely on an ignorant, low -information voting base that will buy into their fear mongering to get them elected.

  12. It’s about fucking time. Dems need to stop underhand pitching. Hit them with fastballs. They’re fucking xenophobic fascists who want to destroy America

  13. I think people are or will be sufficiently aware of the danger that Trump will lose badly in the popular vote. What worries me most is some idiosyncrasy in the voting system that ends up with him in power. Manchin or some third-party candidate causing the election to be sent to the House of Representatives, most of all.

My main hope is the the justice system catches up with him in time, and he’s convicted of some of the 91 counts as the trial upends his campaign.

  14. The only people reluctant to say fascism are the media elites who enabled trump in the first place

  15. So many of these people will eagerly tell you, without the slightest notion of shame or irony, that their fathers/grandfathers/uncles/whatever fought the nazis in WW2.

  16. This is absolutely terrifying. To think Americans spent countless years worrying about, and fighting against authoritarian regimes, only to be confronted with the threat within their own country. The fact that fascism might take hold in America as a result of a wanna-be authoritarian being elected by the people, has my head spinning. George Washington, our founding fathers, and all who lost their lives fighting for our democracy and the freedoms it allowed, must be turning in their graves.

  17. Exactly! He’s evil and this should be shouted on a daily basis! It’s so frustrating that he gets a pass!

  18. **…It’s time fascism is called fascism…**

    I agree.

And the MAGA-fascists ought to by now know it. They know what they support and they know why. They ought to just admit it and claim the label for themselves.

  19. I have a brother who says he doesn’t care about politics because it doesn’t impact him. Mind you, he is severely mentally ill, gets a housing voucher, and free health insurance. I explained that under Trump, he would lose all of that. To which he counters, I’m trying to get off that stuff anyway. Really? After 10 years, you’re gonna make a profound change? Doubtful. But this is how indifference will hurt us.

  20. I’d add it’s time to stop blindly voting party lines and look at issues in the wake of stupid Hitler

  21. > Joe: It’s time fascism is called fascism

Seems like “fascism” is used for anything people don’t like, and not actual fascism. I don’t expect this to change.

  22. Fascism doesn’t work. Conservatives and their libertarian lackeys have successfully made fascism the new “they call everyone racist.”

Try calling them the confederacy/confederates instead. It’s more culturally accurate and puts them in a weird position where they have to denounce Dixie treason.

  23. This is a common misconception. They know, they’re not stupid. They are making a choice. Millions of Americans would cheer if you and I were killed as part of an authoritarian purge.

  24. Well that makes things really simple. 🤨

If you vote for these people, you’re deliberately destroying this country and we have to stop you.

  25. a vote for either is a vote for fascism. the guy with the blue tie is just “fascism-lite”.

  26. Call it what it is: autocrat is just a polite way to say dictator.

  27. pretty sure most Americans don’t know what fascism means.

  28. Every day I see these and everyday it’s 8 years too late.

  29. Antifa was (and still is) right. You must fight them at every level, using every tool in the toolbox.
Remember, every centrist who is now screaming this mantra, laughed at them, misunderstood the consequences, and largely sided with the same ilk that would later storm the capital three years later, and now that the Right is *actually building an army, which no doubt will include a paramilitary wing,* the liberal establishment has nothing.

Mainstream media will have you believe that you can vote this problem away.

You can’t. If you only vote, you’re, *at best*, going to get the “democracy” at the level you lost it at.

That’s not good enough. We need more democratic institutions–not less. Far more than liberals are comfortable with. Which means they aren’t going to be the ones to enact the change we need.

  30. It has been clear to me since at least 2018 that the republican party supports fascism and the people that vote republican are ok with all of the evil shit that goes along with fascism. If you know a republican, they support fascism. They support hate, and violence, and bigotry etc. etc. etc. They don’t get a pass by saying stupid shit like “I am really a libertarian” or “I am fiscally conservative” or what ever justification they have for voting for a party that is centered on denying civil liberties and hating the “other”.

  31. There’s an interesting thing happening in Iowa – The IA Gov. Kim Reynolds literally [hand picked the latest IA Attorney General, Brenna Bird](https://iowacapitaldispatch.com/briefs/reynolds-draws-criticism-for-saying-she-wants-her-own-attorney-general-auditor/) Demanded her “Own AG”

Reynold’s in now full in on DeSantis, while Bird is full in on Trump. Also thanks to Reynolds, the IA AG now has [new powers over election related cases, and can supersede county officials](https://www.thegazette.com/state-government/iowa-attorney-general-brenna-bird-highlights-offices-new-role-in-election-security/)
    >In a news release, Bird highlighted a portion of Gov. Kim Reynolds’ state government reorganization plan that was approved by the Republican-majority Legislature and signed into law by Reynolds this year. One section of the wide-ranging law gave the Attorney General’s Office authority to prosecute elections crimes.

So is Reynolds on Project 2025 enemy list? Will Bird help Trump attempt to steal the election in Iowa w her new election case powers? Will Reynolds intervene?

  32. *This* is the reason liberals are constitutionally incapable of combating fascism.

Biden sees, clearly and correctly, that fascism has come home to roost in America. That we are on the brink of permanently losing our democracy. That we face an existential threat to our nation.

…and all he can think to do about it, as the President of the United States of America, is encourage you to vote against it.

  33. I am also going to say that the meaning of “fascism” has been massively diluted because people call fascism anything they don’t like. So when real fascists or racists appear, people just assume it is the boy that cried wolf and don’t even try to investigate.

  34. Man all you need to do is read Reddit to realize Libs want a bloody civil war. The hate and fear monger inf is out of control.
