I think people are or will be sufficiently aware of the danger that Trump will lose badly in the popular vote. What worries me most is some idiosyncrasy in the voting system that ends up with him in power. Manchin or some third-party candidate causing the election to be sent to the House of Representatives, most of all.
My main hope is the the justice system catches up with him in time, and he’s convicted of some of the 91 counts as the trial upends his campaign.

This is absolutely terrifying. To think Americans spent countless years worrying about, and fighting against authoritarian regimes, only to be confronted with the threat within their own country.
