The EU Just Banned Microplastics. How Are Companies Replacing Them?

  2. EU does what America doesn’t have the balls to do.

  3. Saw a bit about “biodegradable polymers”, a ton of stuff is technically biodegradable only under very specific controlled environments. You can bury biodegradable plastic in your garden bed or composter and it will still be there 5 years later. UV causes most plastics to break down and turn into micro plastics, this isn’t going to do much to help unless they ban plastic entirely.
