Not sure why this would need to happen, other places have taken sometimes extreme effort to protect theirs.

I’d be interested to know what labour MSP Paul Sweeney or anyone else has done to advocate for the maintenance or upkeep of these treasure in the past couple of decades. It’s easy to say that history should have been preserved but when we are at the point where things have already deteriorated it’s too late.
