We currently do not have the proper technology to be able to preserve the fabrics and many other artifacts of the effects of the outside environment, the Chinese themselves learned this from the other excavations they had in discovering the artifacts that started to crumble as soon as outside air came in. The first emperors tomb without a doubt contains within it priceless artifacts.
Maybe a collective “baawk bawk baaaawk” will nudge them in the right direction

Why not use something like bomb disposal robots to scout it out first? We’ve got working rovers on freakin’ Mars, so I’m sure it could be made sturdy/dependable enough.

It seems like archaeologists are relying on information that is roughly 2000 years old. Can’t they drill and get some sort of small camera in there first, in order to actually see what they are dealing with? Or ground-penetrating radar, or some sort of imaging device?
Return the SLAB!
In an ideal world they send a mini drones inside and take pictures. Think it as a mini Mars exploration
