Asllani: “What has changed? Last year I was third choice, I knew I had fewer minutes. I have to thank the coach and the club very much for their trust and I have to thank Calhanoglu, a fantastic person who helps me a lot. I’ve improved, watching Brozovic also helped me to grow. Now I’m ready too.

I’m fine, I just had some fatigue but I recovered already in time for the first match with Albania. We decided with the Inter doctors not to risk anything for the match against Frosinone.

I’m working a lot on everything, especially on the defensive phase. I want to get proper minutes this year. This will come from work.

Juventus will be a very difficult game, they are strong, we will go there to play our game and aim for the best. You can say it’s a Scudetto match, but let’s see there are many teams in the race.”

For the season goal: do you choose the Scudetto or the Champions League?

“I watch from game to game. We are making a beautiful journey in the league, now in the Champions League we have passed and we are aiming for first place. The second star is a workable dream, we try and see what happens”

“Yes, I wanted to stay, but it’s also great credit to the company and the coach. In the end it went well for everyone. I’m from Inter, I’m happy to be with these guys. As soon as I heard about Inter I went there. As everyone knows, I’m an Inter fan and so I only think of Inter”

What is your relationship with Inzaghi?

“The coach helps me and helped me, he talked to me, gave me minutes that I didn’t expect. Everything goes through work”

You have qualified with Albania, you will play the European Championship together with Italy

“I’m happy for all the guys who play with me and all the Italians, they deserve it. It would be nice to meet at the European Championship.”
