Ridiculous double standards being set by Hollywood. Noah Schnapp can and will star in the final season of a popular series after actively promoting “Zionism is sexy,” Amy Schumer gets away with slamming her IG with racist posts, but Melissa Barrera gets fired for being vocally pro-Palestine? Does not sit right with my soul.
Did Hollywood learn nothing about the Red scare blacklists?
It sounds like they had barely even started to develop the movie. They probably want to make Jenna Ortega the star regardless.
Bad timing on her part. She opening supports one side but completely ignores the atrocities and war crimes that the terrorist organization Hamas is committing.
Where were her posts condemning Hamas for mass murder, gang rape, cutting babies from their mother’s wombs and cooking them in ovens, and using hospitals and schools as command centers? Right she was absent on those posts even though there was a lot of evidence to prove Hamas is doing that.
That’s a good move by the studio 👍
Condemning a war and gets canned. Also, apparently Susan Sarandon got dropped by her agency. She’s always been someone that has stood up for her beliefs and is one of the most left leaning celebrities in Hollywood and they throw her out too. Unbelievable
I knew that was going to happen the moment she posted those comments – Doesn’t matter how you feel about the Israel Palestinian conflict your opinion is not so important where you should share it on social media and lose out on the lead in a major movie franchise

Supposedly this decision was made not by Paramount but by the new director Christopher Landon (who is Jewish and an extreme supporter of Israel)

Hollywood actors need to be careful what they say about the Hamas/Israel conflict since Jews pretty much run Hollywood.

Well guess I won’t be watching any scream movies. I never heard of her but I’ll be supporting anything she does going forward.
