This was such a innocent team lol. All just young players who were meant to be our savior. Some players contributed more than others but still its a wholesome picture
It always funny when we talk about the future of barca and we mention many players but every time most of these players we mention wont make it into that future team. So appreciate them when they are here
I think it was Xavi or Iniesta who said it a few years back in that Barca documentary that was released in 2015. La Masia can be viewed almost as a pyramid. There are only a few players that make it to the top. It can be examplified by this picture, and also by the class of 87, which is often regarded as the most succesful youth team Barca has ever had. However, Messi, Fabregas and Pique were the only player who became successful in the Barca shirt. I remember reading that there was a guy by the name of Victor Vazquez who many regarded as the most promising player of the bunch. Today he is a ghost after picking up several injuries that ruined his career.
