Hungary is trying to get euros in return for cents.
Haven’t seen this news posted here, but I wanted to share plus add an important info.
On hungarian news sites it’s said that out of the 100 ventilators 24 are the type ‘Beijing Aeonmed VG70’. **It can be dangerous to use them**, these were bought at the start of covid in massive amounts (through Orbán’s cronies of course) but lot of them turned out to be faulty. Many of them started smoking (they say ~10% overall) and they’ve been categorized as ‘not good but useable’.
The type of the other 76 ventilators are unknown but most likely they’re not the faulty kind.

Ukraine must check these ventilators before using it, I won’t be surprised if these are crap.
Do they work? Hungary doesn’t usually support Ukraine
that’s interesting.
Why? Covid is over and now this looks like a bad joke.
