  8. The safest thing would be to just leave for sure.

    But… Maybe (big maybe) modern explosives don’t blow up by being hit with a shovel, so i think his rationale was to destroy the electronics, so that it couldn’t be activated in some other way remotely by the operator.

    He was super smart or super dumb.

  14. That’s ahhhh… a weird one. I get what he was trying to do to disable it but… i’m thinking there’s a better way. Most people don’t hit explosive shells with a shovel, and for that matter walk away from it.
