**Luis Fabiano (Former Sevilla/Brazil player):** “I would also break all of the goalscoring records that Haaland has. With the opportunities he has for that team [Pep’s Manchester City]?
**Benja (Interviewer):** “He’s scored 3 hat-tricks in 3 consecutive games.”
**Luis Fabiano:** “Thanks to his team-mates who gave him 30 chances.”
**Benja:** “And when you scored, what did you do?”
**Luis Fabiano:** “Because of my team-mates as well. Haaland has 30 chances and scores 3 goals. If I had 30 chances, I’d score 10 or 20 goals with my quality in front of goal. That’s the difference.”

Such a braindead take, as though no striker before Haaland has ever had a great team around them.
Fabiano wouldn’t get close to Haaland’s numbers. Just like Jesus and even Aguero couldn’t.
Who?
he didn’t have the movement in his game to be as effective
These takes are always so frustrating. I play striker in a mediocre amateur team and finishing really is a lot harder than it looks (that’s my excuse anyway for missing at least two clear cut chances every game).
Yeah this guy is full of shit 😂
No where near as athletic as Haaland
That’s nothing, if I played in Pep’s Man City team and had 30 chances, I score 60-65 goals.
Are we gonna ignore haaland s stats at Dortmund?
Outjerked by a guy who got dropped from the Brazil team by the other Fred.
Sounds like the kinda guy that blames his teammates in videogames when they lose
Any one who believes him is an idiot
easy to chat shit when you live in dreamland
Boomer energy. “Back in my day blah blah blah”
He averages 3.5 shots a game in the PL. I know this because I wanted to see where our strikers were going wrong recently so looked it up, Hojlund averages 1.4 a game for comparison
I had a guy in my Sunday league side who scored 40 in a season yet he missed about 120 sitters
Luis Fabiano was a good striker. I followed his career since Ponte Preta and São Paulo. He was also a hothead and failed to impress on Porto, leaving a good mark on Sevilla but nothing that made him be considered to join a bigger team. He was benched in favor of Kanouté many times. And he wants us to believe he would do better than Haaland “just because of his teammates”? Give me a break
There is no class of human beings more insecure than retired athletes
Look at the goal scoring records for Pep’s players. Not every player is a Haaland, Messi, or Lewandowski
No you fucking wouldn’t
