  1. Poles, these people are not remotely interested in democracy.

    *Even if you agree with their policies*, the kind of state they want to build, a state without pesky opposition and an uninformed populace, is a state you don’t want to live in.

    It’s a recipe for unchecked mismanagement and corruption, regardless of ideology.

    On an EU level, we can’t let other democratic states be bound and limited by states captured by single political parties.

    It’s intolerable in the long run, and will 100% lead to Poland and Hungary getting kicked out one way or another.

  2. Sadly, the CEE region does not have the democratic culture to result in a proper Watergate-level scandal. I do not think most Romanians would flinch at this news.

  3. if you think this is big news I will remind you that USA admitted to using the same software to spy on their allies and fuck all happened. Everyone spies on everyone these days, it’s obvious but everyone plays dumb.
