Damn pretty sure life expectancy in US is only 78 but you do you
Edit: Hello I’m moron, and i can’t tell difference between US and Canada I’m ashamed
LOL no way. Have you been to Hull?
81 is pretty amazing given the number of ex commie countries.
Funny that there’s two separate comments mistaking Canada for the US lol
Map is a bit confusing IMO. Some of the countries within the EU have a higher life expectancy than most of those countries in green.
Honestly, 81 isn’t a bad score, all else considered.
Importantly for everyone’s pride, it’s above the US’s.
Nice
Guyane is not coloured ? D:
How come Australia’s so high while having one of the highest obesity in the world(31% vs 17% EU)?
So what you are saying is, if you are European, you really don’t want to be in the EU or you die sooner than if you were outside it?
FACTS DO NOT LIE!
(This is a joke. I know how statistics work and averages).
Eastern Europe this is a friendly request to stop drinking so much yall fall over at 50 were trying to be the rest of the world here (and we are below britain so yea i wanna shoot myself)
Does Greenland have a bad life expectancy? (Comparing this to the countries colored on the map)
The map shows both Hong Kong and Taiwan as “countries.” Aces, Charles. 👍
The EU’s result isn’t too bad but I also need to question comparing an average of 27 different states with their own healthcare systems and of varying economic strength to single states with a single healthcare system.
You could still colour the EU member states black and grey. No need to exclude them. They can also have a higher or lower average life expectancy than the EU as a whole, and that would also provide interesting information

I started thinking: Well that’s not fair there are probably big variations within the E…. Wait 81?? That’s really good! It’s 83 here if I remember correctly so that’s not that far off.
Eu is getting smaller and smaller every map. Very interesting.
So basically all developed countries other than the US. Not exactly a singing endorsement for the EU.
This is one of the stupidest map ever done. Let’s lump together a median value with absolute percentage, because “reason”.
For what is worth, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland and Iceland all have higher life expectancy than Australia, Canada and UK
Honestly, from an EU country that ranks way above average (or below if the better score is less) in almost all EU rankings, these kinds of maps seem pointless. This makes it look like we’re worse off than a lot of countries, when we’re not.
Someone just posted another map saying the opposite……
nice
In Italy for example the life expectancy is of 80 years old for males and 84 years old for females
Pretty pointless map in my opinion
We are on the map!
For once we’re not dragging the average down LMAO
So pretty much all the rich countries except the US?
Living is overrated
Petition to invade Iceland, Norway and Switzerland to increase our Life Expectancy average.
We’ll start of course by sending the germans with towels to occupy all the coastal areas.
Damn the us can’t even beat the eu being averaged down by eastern europe
Given the UK has Scotland, parts of northern England. How the hell is life expectancy better than the EU?
Which country is that, the one in the border of france and spain. That dot(not monaco)
Who knew a diet based on Falafels and schnitzels could be so effective
[Laughs in CANZUK]
This map is terrible!!! How is Somalia not in green!?!?!?
/s
Higher life expectancy then the EU gang.
So is this an average expectancy for the EU? How is it calculated? My guess is it is an average and keep in mind in the EU there are countries with the same / higher expectancy compared to Canada for example.
