Hello, I am going to be visiting Italy next February. My plan is to take a train from Rome to Venice, train from Venice to Florence, and train from Florence to Rome. I am looking at ticket prices and I see there is a youth ticket, for under 30. I am 31, but I look younger. How strict are the people who check the tickets? I will buy online and have the ticket to show on my phone, but do they ask for ID as well? I’m currently in college so I have a student card with my name and photo, but not birthdate. It’s a pretty big price difference, so I thought it was worth a shot.
