  1. He lied to protect himself its his responsibility, its not as if his kids were going to be jailed for running up a bill, a prime case of if he just admitted the truth when it happened it would be forgotten in a day

  2. How many minutes do I have to wait until the next version of this??

  3. Those honest liars are sort of like the living dead.

They’re not actually living and they’re not actually honest.

  4. Should have resigned as soon as it came out, or better yet the party should have removed him as soon as they became aware.

And before anyone decries me as a Red or Blue Tory, I’m the furthest thing from a Unionist, I just can’t stand fucking hypocrisy.

  5. He threw his family under the bus, he did all this to try and protect himself.

  6. Top tip, Mr Brown, when someone “lies” they are not being “honest”…

  7. He lied openly and is, even today, acting like a prick about it.

Of course he has to go. At the moment all that’s keeping him is presumably the salary and influence – and, most of all, that Humza Yousaf is too weak to sack him.
