  1. I can’t help think of the fact that in many European countries calling someone ‘horned’ (cornuto) means that his wife is cheating on him. Questionable gift.

  3. I always wondered if things like this were more for the craftsmanship, skill and detail rather than being practical. Like an expensive oddity you’d show off and comment on how gifted the makers were.

  4. I’ve seen this in Leeds, the museum has an awesome collection of artefacts and is free to enter.

  5. It’s like that awful scratchy sweater that someone gives you as a present that you instantly know you have literally zero intention of ever wearing.
