  1. Det overrasker mig ikke engang, fuck Ikea og svenskerne, jeg smutter i genbrugen istedet..

  2. To rise awareness of the quality of their stuff? Eh. Ikea has been having some pretty dodgy items quality wise.

  3. ikea’s black friday move is shady, not cool. they’re all about the convenience, not quality.

  4. So currently that’s 8 different replies here, and obviously not a single one has any idea what the article says.

  5. Literally all businesses do it. I have been watching some products I plan to buy over the last month and all of them went up. Some black Friday deals are already on and the prices are either same or higher. Very few shops follow the EU regulation about displaying their lowest price in last 30 days. Regulators should fine all of them big time.

  6. Well it`s a marketing stunt,Ikea wants to say they have low prices all Year round,by doing the opposite of. the Black Friday hoax

  7. It’s an interesting marketing move. In my youth, Ikea provided quality, inexpensive furniture and fittings while studying at University. The convenience of setting up a home with reliable Ikea products as I moved from country to country in the EU outweighed any other consideration. Now that I am retired, its adaptability is the main factor. It does seem to have a timeless design.

  8. I don’t measure the price we pay for the wealth of the Kamprad clan in dollars, but in hectars of wild life reservations in Romania and other corrupt countries they get their wood from being wiped off this planet forever.

  9. So basically, something like a lifetime lasting bag that gets sold for 10x for a one off fee. Meaning, low key, anything cheaper is like a monthly subscription. Interesting strat, Nords. Let’s see how this goes.

  10. Love to see ikea use more recycled materials but I’m not sure this “debate” changes that their products are literally built to break.
