  1. I like the idea. Just hope it doesn’t cost the hostages.

  2. could it be cause of this that the moved up to the sea so fast before attacking the area around the hospitol?

  3. Thats how i flush the gophers out at work. It works pretty good…..they either drown and die or they come out so you can make them die….either way you win.

  4. Actually surprised they haven’t tried this earlier, I guess technically would give those in the tunnels time to gtfo before being fully flooded. So seems a somewhat “humanitarian” way of going about it, vs say just blowing up all the tunnels.

  5. The Tywin Lannister Method

*The Reynes of Castamere plays in background*

  6. Just so they wouldn’t get too comfortable before the ceasefire.

  7. The reasoning for not doing this is obviously the hostages, I wonder if they somehow confirmed that there aren’t any in there. Would it be possible to put some sort of knockout gas down those tunnels, go down there with masks, get the hostages, free the terrorists? I always wondered why they don’t do that.

  8. For those concerned, given there are hundreds of km of Hamas tunnels (and maybe more):

    1. low likelihood of hurting the hostages.

    2. Intel probably has it that there are no hostages in this specific tunnel/tunnel complex.

  9. This was done in Iwo Jima by US military forces. They then floated fuel on top of the water and after it got into the caves, lit it on fire.

  10. Hamas destroys water supply lines. Builds Tunnels for Terror. IDF floods Tunnels making it an water reservior. Its Kind of hilarious.

Who was claiming IDF deinies Palestinians water?

  11. Turning terrorist tunnels into wells is considered humanitarian aid?

  12. Is it possible to flood all identified tunnels during the ceasefire? It’s literally the opposite of fire
