You don’t need an expensive wedding to get married.
Or people can just stop expecting to have baller weddings as the norm. Getting married isn’t about having a big party… it’s about a lifetime commitment to building a life with another person. If the price tag of the wedding is the biggest obstacle… you’re an idiot.
As much as I love certain aspects of Japanese culture, it has some funky attitudes towards tradition they are laughably unwilling to move past. My favorite is those sushi chefs who put their apprentice on rice duty for YEARS before they will teach them the next part of the process in the name of mastery. I’m all for craftsmanship and the pursuit of excellence, but give me a break its such a ridiculous hierarchical structure to fabricate some lineage of artisans.
Breathing will be someday too.
I don’t know the specifics of a Japanese wedding with their culture; however is a correct room wedding not an option in Japan
