It’s always nice when those in power seemingly hate our country regardless of if it actually is a shit hole or not
Seems a common theme for those who portray themselves as being the most patriotic in our society, to often actually despise our country the most.
Sorry, no way I can believe this happened as it would involve a Conservative politician being honest.
No dishonourable member would ever stoop so low to use such unparliamentary language, or impose someone such as the current occupant of a “mayor” of the Teesside Mayoral Development Corporation.
So people are complaining about an MP being truthful for once?

A large part of it being a sh*thole is the Tory mayor demolishing most of the town centre

It’s plainly obvious to anybody living there that it is a shithole, however, for one, rich twats like James “misnomer” Cleverly don’t have the right to say that and for two, it’s his bloody government’s responsibility for the state of it and also to fix it and they haven’t even tried. Meanwhile, their pet toad, Ben Houchen, Tees Valley Mayor, has done his level best to divert all of the funding for the area into his own back pocket.
The man who was the only person in the House of Commons to be able to be Foreign Secretary, and when he left had to be replaced by a Lord.
This was in response to Stockton’s MP talking about the child poverty rate in Stockton being 30%. Shocking comment, completely compassionless.
Is this the first time a Tory member has ever told the truth?!
I don’t think insulting their capital city like this is going to do much for our relationship with the Swedish government.
