There are far too many litter louts around, it’s so frustrating that a significant minority feel keeping the country tidy is someone else’s job.
When you dump the bodies, make sure you dump them near the middle of the channel.
First time in London? Get down there and do some mudlarking! You can occasionally find some cool stuff.
Every few years a headless corpse with missing arms and legs gets found so it can get very exciting:)
City bikes and scooters were my very first guess
My good patio furniture!
Don’t worry, it will wash away, never to be seen again.
There’s a group on Facebook for mudlarkers to show off their finds and some are pretty interesting
It’s.always the limes
Have electric scooters replaced supermarket trolleys or something?
Sometimes people don’t deserve a city
I found an old 19th century smoking pipe on the shore once. Seems to be a lot of old pipe parts as well as a bunch of old brick pieces from ruined buildings or whatever.
People been throwing stuff in there for hundreds of years. The old junk is worth money now
And oddly enough, this is the same reason why we know so much about previous generations of people – because of the shit they threw away!
Yet another reason to ban them, shame on them for destroying our waterways
Mudlark! (Well, don’t – you need a licence and they’re not being given out at the moment.)
