It seems like one of the biggest issues of the russian civilians is that no one wants to dissent. They need a new person to lead them, someone fresh. They have proven themselves to be followers, they need someone to follow who isnt putin.
I really hope she doesnt have some stupid tarnish on her record like ex neo nazi member or something.
Well, I suppose Svetlana Tikhanovskaya ran on much the same platform and surprised everyone by how well she did, but Russia and Belarus aren’t the same country with the same political mentality, so while I wish her luck, I seriously doubt a female non-oligarch will do well during a rigged election in an authoritarian country that revels in toxic masculinity
