  1. Remember after the new footage is released, look for not yet unidentified insurgents.

  2. Now if only things like that applied to big orange himself

  3. Hard to believe we’ll turn to fascism after moments like these.

  4. Bit of a clickbait headline with “quadrupled” — it’s true, but it makes it sound more severe than it is: 21 days “quadrupled” to 3 months (the prosecution was asking for 4 months).

I find myself curious, though: The terrorist is a sovereign citizen clown that believes the US government is illegitimate, but participated in an attempt to overthrow it. Would he still claim to be a sovereign citizen if his insurrection succeeded? There’s a whole lot of stupid to unpack here.

Anyway! To top it off, during the sentencing proceeding he called his case “an absolute clown show of a prosecution” — he’s damn lucky he didn’t get contempt of court charges. If he was a POC I’d bet he would’ve.

That said: Neither 21 days nor 3 months, or even the 4 months the prosecution was asking for, would result in any changes in this terrorist’s mindset.

These people need cult deprogramming as well as prison.

  5. Fucked around and found out. What an idiot. Then again one would expect no less from a MAGA fanatic

  6. insurrection, not a riot. Stop playing into Trump and the Republican’s narrative

  7. This might be the first time I’ve seen MAGA crossed with the sovereign citizens movement, Glad it doesn’t happen often or MAGA would be a significantly larger threat than they are right now

  8. Three months in prison for a massage therapist. He’ll be busy.

  9. Lol he should be in prison for life. Why the fuck aren’t there real consequences.

  10. From 21 days to three months, despite being a complete jackass, and still having no respect for the judge. How is this person going to be let out in three months and not still be considered a threat?

  11. This dude believes in the “Sovereign Citizen” movement and literally *told the judge*:

“I should get a warrant for YOUR arrest!”

Sovereign Citizens: Trying their hardest to get all the correct words in all the correct places in each sentence as though they are trying to be Harry fucking Potter.

  12. So this shit for brains acts up in court and gets punished. Trump acts up in court and gets permission to keep doing it.

  13. His sentence is still short…the judge is being kind.

If you try any of that same stuff in court where you live, you will probably get a harsher sentence enhancement than what this guy was handed.

I don’t fully understand why the judiciary is treating these offenders with kid gloves.

Is there a rationale for it, or is it just personal preference and/or cowardice?

  14. “Yes, I tried to overthrow the government and many people were hurt but it didn’t work out, now, I just wanna go home”. These people….
