Who would’ve guessed that a figurehead from a hair band, from the 80’s-early 90’s, who wrote songs about doing heroin, banging fans, and getting money would’ve actually done those things, and written songs about it. Wow! I’m fucking shocked! /s

He was known to mistreat women in the day. Threw one groupie down the stairs. Stephanie and Erin are no secret either. He’s acknowledged his misogyny and many other issues to a degree. Axl does seem to have looked inwards and addressed his issues (and the occasional lawsuit) over time. I commend him for his growth and think he’s come a long way, for what it’s worth.
Little doubt that he and many other 80s and 90s male musicians behaved rapey and violently this way in the past. I’ve witnessed a lot of questionable behavior backstage in my youth.
