This situation is what they wanted to achieve by only allowing Ukraine citizens to enter Russia through one small border checkpoint in Latvia. That didn’t happen because Latvia quickly closed the checkpoint to avoid people being stuck for days there. Now russia gets to experience it themselves. They made their bed, now they have to lie in it.
Baltic states and Poland closed their borders for russians a long time ago, now Finland is gradually forced to do the same. The iron curtain is descending.
i think that crisis should be easily fixable by russia since russia is creating it.

I feel for the asylum seekers, but close the border tight and make it Russia’s problem. Have it backfire on Putin, everyone knows what he’s doing.
Now why exactly would Russia consider handfuls of Yemenis and North Africans on bicycles – in the arctic – to be a crisis of Finland’s doing?
How did they get there? Who transported them? Who is giving them bikes and scooters? Why Finland of all places. So curious.
The fact they hoot and whoop about this at all is all the proof you need that they’re entirely behind it to try and create a migrant crisis. Russia is more than happy to get rid of undesirables.

Russia has a large amount of foreign workers from e.g. African countries. Russia has recently been rounding up these people and giving them a choice: go fight in Ukraine or go to Finland and seek asylum there. For those who choose the latter, Russia transports them up north near the border, sells them bikes and sends them off on their way. Often in summer clothes despite it being winter time and won’t let them return. Russias hope is that Finland won’t let them in and they will die on the border, so Russia may accuse Finland of murder. However, Finland has been helping these foreigners and so far Russias plan has not worked.
Let the migrants cross and interview them. If their sons were conscripted, put Russia on blast.

The amount of these asylum seekers is not huge but its still problem cos there could be trained russian agents in the mix. This shitshow already shows how much russia can have influense with shit like this. Literally all the news is about this and hard-right-wing government gets points. Also using these asylum seekers as pawns in freezing cold winter in Finland is kinda disgusting. Fuck ruzzia and their endles shit.
Solution is easy. Curtain off Russia again. They pissed away the privilege of being part of the civilized world. Isolate them like NoKorea.
