Hi all, some years ago, I received this book as a gift from my old babysitter. She used to read it to my brother and I as little kids and wanted us to have her copy. She was british and grew up somewhere not that near the welsh border. I also don’t believe she has any welsh family, which is why I was surprised to find an inscription on the first pages in what looked like welsh to my untrained eye. I messed around in google translate and think I figured most of it out, but am totally lost with the short writing in the first picture. Anybody have an idea? Also, do you reckon I got the second part right? I will definitely ask her if she knows who wrote it if I get the chance
Thanks for helping me!!

Looks to me to be the following in your second image, with the inscription that’s in your first image probably being someone’s name again, although it’s harder to make out.
Gyda’r dymuniadau gorau am y dyfodol, a phob llwyddiant. Doris Evans.
With the best wishes for the future, and good luck.
Doris Evans.
