Right-wing U.S. media covered fiction as fact: A non-existent terrorist attack from Canada at Rainbow Bridge

  3. As soon as I realized it was Fox pushing the story I had my reservations as to its veracity. My distrust was proven justified. Fox lies.

  7. Didn’t you all notice the flood of posts the very first minute this was on the news? It was like they were prepared for such events. I’m sure they had a whole “Blame Biden” script for tonight. They might as well run it, because their audience won’t fact check anyways.

  8. Right wing media is a clear and present danger. They knew they didn’t have any information, yet crafted their narrative anyway. So now when the actual information comes out, that same right wing media can pivot and claim there is a cover up. Now their violent cult believes that left wing entities are keeping “the truth” from them and they must fight to “take their country back”. They will continue to incite violence with their lies until they have all the control they desire.

They call it Rainbow Beige, and Bridge, but the Rainbow Bridge Massacre, a horrible tragedy, so sad, it’s incredible, and amazing reporting out of Breitbart by the way, Steve Breitbart, good guy, very smart, but it’s the rainbow massacre, and you know they say, I hate to say it, but LG, LGGLQ, we love them folks even if we wish some of them would tone it down, but the LGBT, and Q, massacred, and it happens very often and very, in extremely large numbers to them, and the trans, and we need to be looking into this, for their sake, because there’s something going on and some very sick people, so we need to figure it out and get them under, get this under control, for America’s sake, terrible, believe me.

    “There was no attack from Canada; the incident occurred entirely on U.S. soil; in fact, authorities don’t believe it was a terrorist attack at all.

    That didn’t stop a candidate for president of the United States from appearing on Fox News to promote an aspect of his platform: Building a border wall with Canada.

    “I have been sounding the alarm bell about the northern border for a long time,” said Vivek Ramaswamy during a lengthy interview about an incident he did not witness, was not a subject-matter expert on, and had no insight into.

    “This is a mounting crisis. We’re ignoring it.””

  24. I wonder if the driver had a heart attack at the wheel. Something awry likely happened. It would not be the first time a driver had a heart attack and sped into an obstacle. My thought is only speculation but a medical issue while driving resulting in an accident at speed is not uncommon.

  33. Same as earlier this week when the fiction that Putin had had a heart attack was published first in tabloids, then Fox News picked up the story and ran with it.

  34. I saw elsewhere that the driver may have just come from a casino so I’m guessing alcohol may have played a factor in the crash.
