I know this is on private farmland, but this sounds like the perfect situation for an on-site museum once the excavations are finished, especially if the museum owners had the right to display the artifacts there.
The Mary Rose museum has a really great design where the artifacts are displayed opposite to where they were found on the ship. It’s just so fascinating to be able to see exactly *where* they found the objects and the history of the place so visually, it would be wonderful if more museums were able to do that.
I heard Lance and Andy discovered it originally. (this joke works as a lot of The Detectorists was filmed in Suffolk).
