I have this device in my living room. Not der Hausmeister nor meine Ansprechpartnerin weißen was genau ist das.
I’m guessing it’s for die Bodenheizung, which I’m not if this apartment has any. Tried searching online but couldn’t find a manual or any useful info 😢.
Any ideas? How does it work?

Could be a hidden time machine control interface. I would not disturb it if you want to avoid time travel
To be honest, I have no idea, and I would not try to touch it. Surely there must be some other reliable way to control heating?
