This is truly the downside to globalization. I don’t foresee a future where wars become obsolete, humans will always find reasons to kill each other. But more and more people are going to suffer worldwide as food costs increase due to lack of supply. Ukraine produces so much of the world’s grain that it will take years after the wars end to see their production rise back up. So much of their land is going to be uninhabitable due to leftover explosives.
