  1. Damn foreigners coming over here to deliver pizza to Paddy Ireland and stop violent attackers. Send them home

  2. Absolute hero, same fuckers burning town to the ground tonight would be in favour of kicking this lad out.

  3. A hero whose story I hope won’t be missed in the chaos of everything. Hopefully he’ll be able to get his bike back at some point too

  4. This will be conveniently left out of the far-right rhetoric.

    Fair play, top man ❤️

  5. Immigrants are not our enemy they are normal people just like this man. What a hero, I would have that man in my house 100 times over the scumbags rioting tonight

  6. Absolute legend.

Brazilian community apparently pitching in to buy him a new helmet.

  7. Now Benicio is exhausted – all day he has been running on adrenaline. He doesn’t know where his bike is as he left it at the scene inside of the Garda cordon.

Hoping some help will come to him too.

  8. Now what would really stick two fingers up to the rioters tonight is to grant this man and his family citizenship, tomorrow.

  9. He is a hero. Had knee surgery too and still did it.

  10. That man’s a hero and I’d like to think I would do the same in these circumstances.

I’d also like to never find out if I would do the same

  11. An actual hero like this who works a thankless job is genuinely a reason why I’m at a point where I’ll gladly see more foreigners in Ireland like him rather than these scummy cunts who live off the state that we’ve seen terrorise, destroy and rob from our nation’s capital tonight.

Call me what you want or say whatever, there are a group of people that are absolutely ruining Ireland and play a huge part in why it is so bad in certain ways, and it’s not foreigners, it’s Irish people with no self respect.

All that can be said is it only took one absolute scum of the earth lunatic, who should never see the light of day again, to bring out probably thousands of opportunists who in the name of “protecting their country” robbed from their fellow countrymen, destroy their infrastructure and made a city unsafe. The actual tax payers who will have to go out to work tomorrow morning to foot that bill, something these scum will have no understanding of.

  12. So all these far right guys are wrecking the place up and accusing a non Irish guy that could actually be Irish while calling to kill all immigrants while the children and woman were only saved because of an immigrant. Fair fucks to him by the day. Literal hero

  13. Hero.

And as a foreign national delivery driver, exactly the sort of person the _actual_ scumbags in Dublin have been targeting with violence over recent months.

  14. I’m starting to think Brazilian Deliveroo drivers have done more for this city than many of our local representatives- Might be an idea for one of them to put themselves forward for a position, I’m sure they’d be well supported.

  15. >“If a child didn’t survive, I would always think, I could have been faster. I chose to have surgery on my knee recently, it made me slow to get off the bike, could I have been faster?

    >“If all the victims survive, I will be thankful that I was in the right place, at the right time,” he said.

  16. So grateful that we have a person like that to step in and defend a child. He should (if not already) be made an honorary citizen.

  17. What I wanna know is how that man rides a motorbike with balls the size of planets.

  18. A legend and a humble one at that.

Takes serious courage to stop someone with a knife.

  19. What a guy, potentially saved a lot of lives today. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. Then we have the dregs of society out ‘protesting’ against foreigners.

  20. Watch this fella get conveniently ignored in favour of whatever narrative is to be pushed by those morons

  21. The irony of it all. The scumbags in Dublin attack Brazilian Deliveroo drivers every day of the week and he is the hero of the hour.

Well done, that man. Probably saved someone’s life.

    > Benicio came to Ireland for work after his restaurant burned down in Brazil. He hopes his children can come here one day.

    > “It looks like they hate immigrants. Well I am an immigrant, and I did what I could to try and save that little girl,” he said.
