Depends on the their native language. This doesn’t feel like B-1, it’s got some pretty advanced language structures and it uses some words that aren’t really a part of a beginner’s vocabulary
Not sure what you mean by B-1.
However I would point out that every paragraph is a whole sentence. Meaning it’s not simple.
The sentences are complex, with dependent clauses.
Thus, this text could easily be simplified for easier understanding.
Edit: ok I’ve checked the language proficiency levels. I’d say this text falls at least under the B-2 level.
I can barely understand it myself.
