  1. these numbers remind me of what Russia has lost. Lots of tanks, lots of planes, lots of trucks.

  2. They gave them too much and Russia started spreading havoc to their neighbours.

It’s unfortunate how your ally becomes your #1 enemy after the war.

  3. While it’s apples to oranges, it’s interesting to compare with the current Ukraine situation.

    How cheap was a plane?

  4. And not a single word of appreciation after the war…

  5. Yet they failed to deliver the planes they promised Poland on the onset of war.
    Traitor nation

  6. The British and American sent supplies to the Soviets that were used to attack Finland.

  7. Tell me how many Soviet citizen know about it and today’s Russian people.

  8. when they teach history to russians at schools they mostly ignore the land lease, like it didn’t even happen or it wasn’t very important, but they do make big focus on ww2, whole current russian propaganda is built on a “fight against nazies” and “we’re the great, our grandparents defeated the worst evil, so we can’t be wrong”

  9. And today the whole Europe couldn’t manage to provure a million shells to UA.

  10. And now the same equipment is used against Ukraine! Damn you UK.

  11. And without this, it is possible that Germany won the WW

  12. Now their soldiers are eating lead. Suck an ATACMs for breakfast 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

  13. It foes not change the fact that Stalin and Hitler attacked Poland together after Stalin begged the nazis for territorial concessions.

Maybe less people would have died if Stalin and Hitler were not so gready.

  14. Just enough for one of my divisions in Hearts of Iron 4. 💀💀💀

  15. Let’s do the same for Ukraine, show Russia who’s the weak ones

  16. my favorite is buttons. How many buttons were there?

  17. Not sure if that was really a good thing to supply Russia with material in retrospective.

  18. Imagine what Ukraine could do if Europe really upped the game.

    We bury Russia easily

  19. numbers game

and this is only Britain; add the host of other nations but especially the members of the Commonwealth; the US and the Soviet Union and everybody can understand why it was obvious from the beginning that Germany faces exactly the same issues again as she did in the first war; she simply cant win against the rest of the world.

purely outgunned; outmanned; outproduced – twice

I wonder sometimes; so why the hell did they even try; shaping the world not once but twice.

Bittersweet it is; for I hope that most of us know that our beloved European Union and the world that we live in nowadays would not be here without those two incomprehensible insanities ordered by our leaders and undertaken by hundreds of millions of human beings just like us.

Let us not forget about our shared past; especially since there is a war that has been raging in Europe since 2014 and countless issues trying to tear apart this utopia.

I fear that our fellow citizens forgot that with the benefits come obligations.

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

thank you for coming to my ted talk

  20. They say that World War 2 was won with American steel, British intelligence and Russian blood.

    Accurate.

  21. 3000 tanks! That is amazing. Contrast that with the fact that we have sent less than 20 tanks to Ukraine.

  22. Interesting…

    40.000 tonnes of boots.

    But

    70.000.000 rounds of ammunition.

I, a civil person with 0 military insights, know what a “pair of boots” look like, but no idea how many would go in a ton. On the other hand, I have no idea how many bullets go in a round, or how many rounds would be needed for “something”.

It looks like using confusing measures is done on purpose. But what is the purpose?
