But eel on the other hand might be cool. Polish poeple do jellied fish as well.
The chiken, absolutely no, gross. Eel, maybe.
Yes and yes, and I’m quite open to exotic foods
When I saw my grandmother eating this I called an ambulance.
What most people here don’t realise is how much more attention is given to chicken farms in Japan. They have to go through so much more controls and regulations. But in the end, the chickens are nearly 100% bacteria free. It’s safe to eat raw eggs. And I would assume raw chicken as well. Not that I would do it. Hell no.
Wouldn’t touch the eel either
Yes. Idgaf if someone calls me racist or some stupid shit if I don’t want to taste some special delicacy. I don’t wanna get food poisoning is all
Eels look bad but the chicken just spells food poisoning
1. Raw chicken – yes, on account of salmonella risk. Also blood.
2. Eels – nah, eels are a thing here in Poland too, if not very common, and we’ve got something of an analogue in jellied carp.
Why would anyone eat raw chicken? Raw fish and beef tastes alright, but chicken? It’s disgusting.
Definitely. I mean, we do eat beef tartare in Poland, and I’m sure the Japanese prepare the sashimi with utmost care, but to me raw chicken screams “salmonella!”.
Okay, so I know that Japanese have eradicated salmonella and the standards to serve this kind of chicken is super strict, but raw chicken is not a part of cuisine in most parts of the world and we always think that it’s not edible if raw.
Raw chicken is no problem for me but eels were always gross for me
Yes, gross, especially the raw chicken.
Not sure what the 2nd one is but who te fuck eats raw chicken? Sorry, undercooked chicken. Its dangerous
Yes. I really like sushi but raw chicken is a step too far. Well partly because I’m just not a fan of chicken. As for jellied eels, we have things that are a bit similar to that (eg. Drygle), but for me they are all disgusting nevertheless.
Tf you mean ”as a pole” first pic is just free salmonella
At this point i would like to question word “delicacy”, how can you pick the most nauseating, disgusting and visually off-putting dish and gaslight people into eating it on the count of trying the delicacy
Raw chicken is just very dangerous to consume.
Eels are OK, nothing special.
