Turkey: I want the F35s that I paid for and made its parts.
US: No
Turkey: Ok give me F16s
US: No
Turkey: Then what about Eurofighters?
Germany: No
Turkey: Hmm then I think I’ll consider china’s jets
EU & NATO: This is unacceptable you are being close to east.
Why not Gripens and Turkey stops this NATO block nonsense?
Turkey doesn’t have money to pay, so they’ll not get any fighters from anyone.
Turkey has been playing Just Cause and saw some planes in Medici. I’ll admit, they are quite fun to fly with, especially those homing missiles. /s
I don’t want to see any european combat vessels in a state that is eyeing becoming a fundamentalist islamic country
Let think about it first. We will give you a call, eventually.
The least that Eurofighter producing countries could do is use the same tactics . Maybe
– threaten to sell Eurofighters to Turkey unless they get something from Greece
– Germany could demand to be let into the Turkish 5th gen advanced jet program if they allow the sale of Eurofighter
– demand Sweden be let into NATO in return for Eurofighters
As it stands, Turkey is actively trying to use every leveage they have while we just stand there and do nothing but say no. Why not use all the tools we have and get something for us out of it?
The EUROfighters will only be used against greek f16s/rafales and french rafales.
