  1. Is this the beginning of the end for this govt? Leo wants an early election, looks like he’s going to get it

  2. Minister McEntee has seen a major deterioration in law and order on her watch, but they are too arrogant to resign

  3. Drew Harris should go immediately. I’d be scared if Helen goes too soon it’ll throw the Incitement to Hatred bill into jeopardy, which would be a terrible response to the far-right’s shitfit.

  4. The carnage last night is a result of a consistently soft handed approach to these scumbags and their rabble rousing leaders who put out calls for mobs to assemble and cause trouble.

These scuts should have had the ever loving shite bate out of them when they started attacking library staff and homeless immigrants.

  5. Both Harris and Mcentee should have resigned in disgrace long ago. They have been protected by the government for so long but I don’t see how they can be protected any further after this.

Realistically I can see Harris being thrown to the wolves and Mcentee wounded but alive to politic another day unfortunately, FG would see to that

  6. While I don’t disagree with him what is Gary’s proposal? Is he not one of those calling for more amenititities for the inner city?

  7. Give the job to Gary, he’d restore LAW and ORDER to the streets. No messin’ with him!

  8. Ah yes, Gary Gannon- a man whose whole persona screams ‘tough on crime’. He’s a regular Judge Dredd. No messin’ with him.

  9. Both Harris and McEntee should be gone today. They won’t because politics. We are where we are.

  10. He isn’t wrong but when it comes to security and policing SDs and Garry Gannon in particular aren’t the types I would wasting time listening to.

  11. They should both be gone well before last night. Last night only proves it

  12. The softening of the rule of law in Dublin allowed for this. Minister McEntee will need more than a photoshoot here. This will make electioneering difficult for FFG if they don’t show some common sense here.

  13. Funny how none of the blueshirt bots from the thread about Mary Lou McDonald’s lack of confidence in the minister are jumping up and down in here.

  14. She remain “valuable” to Leo, that’s why its tenable.

  15. Has he anything to say about tye innocent children and their teacher brutally stabbed in his constituency,

  16. Drew Harris is a national security issue of 5he highest regard.

  17. She has to resign after her earlier assertion that Dublin streets were safe. It shows she’s detached from what has been a crisis for years.

Two government terms of treating the inner city as a junkie compound.
