    Leaving that dude behind at the start was absolutely brutal though, watching him try and crawl and you just know he’s begging them to take him to safety. Russia has to, and will, lose this war, but god what the war is doing to Russian people is also a tragedy

  3. Jesus. I know we’ve become somewhat desensitized to war in this sub but this one really fucked with me. Can you imagine what they must be going through atm? There’s no coming back from this.

    Bro just abandoned one guy as he’s begging him not to leave and then as soon as he thinks he’d found cover his partner is abruptly turned into pink mist and he’s so far gone that he barely even reacts. I’ve seen a lot of truly fucked things over the years but I wish I could go back to who I was a few seconds ago before I saw this.

  4. I think this is a repost of a previous event but in the other video it shows him stealing a blanket from a different dying person to replace the one he covered the remains of his buddy with.

  6. One day your having beer with the boys, having fun with your girlfriends/wives, and then somehow, you find yourself later in this no mans land, dodging killer drones, cluster bombs, mines, etc. What a life.

  10. Modern warfare is truly terrifying. The randomised nature of war of decades before (sudden artillery hits, mines etc) now has eyes and is being guided with violent intent (FPV drones, Munitions drones, guided artillery etc).

    You may not know the exact hour or the exact minute, but you know your time is coming and you will eventually get hit, and that’s what is gut-wrenchingly terrifying.

  16. I think that the guy who was dumped was probably paralyzed and perhaps not worth the trouble to them anymore. It does look like they dumped him with 3 or 4 other corpses. A bit like the ” bring out your dead” skit from Monty Python & the Holy Grail with the addition of some quick karma at the end.

  17. So many of these drone videos are of random one off soldiers in random fields or brush with seemingly nothing else around or going on. What’s the deal? Are these drones just mopping up after a larger battle?

  18. Being in an environment where every minute could be your last and seeing your comrades turned to mush must break you mentally. These guys must know that they are already dead.

  22. these two are the same video/guys? I have seen both clips posted separately before, like a week or two ago i think. One was like “Russians abandon/steal from their wounded comrade” and the other “Russian takes an fpv to the face”, don’t remember witch subreddits they were on.

    and now that it’s shown connected, that’s the same blanket he stole that he throws on his bombed friend.

    that just makes the fpv to the face more deserved… too bad one got away(from what we can see)

  24. This was posted the other day, but it omitted the beginning when they left the injured guy behind. Everybody was like “Oh look at least he covered up his buddy.”

    Kind of has a different vibe when you know the blanket he just used to cover the body was stolen from a still-living injured guy they abandoned.

  29. Drones have changed war forever. Tanks and armored fighting vehicles will become obsolete.
