Eine Agentur hat ein KI-Modell geschaffen, das bis zu 11.000 US-Dollar im Monat verdient, weil sie genug von Influencern hatte, die „Egos haben“

  1. The fight is on. The AI will win because it has unlimited resources and unlimited patience unlike the snowflake influencers out there. Dirty tricks and lack of morals? Influencers you’re about to get owned.

  2. Thank god, honestly. “Influencers” have always been awful.

  3. People here are happy that influencers are losing jobs. But when will this AI take over end? Unfortunately, AI will be used to take creative jobs and leave us with nothing but tedious manual jobs. Certainly the worst timeline.

  4. The agency are a hand full of guys that smell like a public bathroom

  5. Why deal with real people when you can artificially create them at a whim? This is how it’s going to look moving forward.

  6. People who like the thought of AI replacing real influencers might cheer too soon. AI might not cause problems for their agencies, but it can become just as awful and superficial as the real deal, depending on what it is programmed to represent. You will get the most charismatic, most beautiful representation of a human being promoting obedience to autocratic regimes because humans equate beauty with integrity and rightness. Be careful what you wish for.

  7. Not surprising. AI has been used to create fake ragebait/shitpost articles and it definitely gets the clicks.

  8. There could be legal issue going this route however. Courts have already ruled AI generated media can’t be copy written, so anyone would be free to use their “model” for anything.

  9. Lots of people in the comments have never tried chatGPT or MidJourney, and it shows. Their whole view comes from grumpy articles. “Boo it’s bad at hands” and “it can’t replace real humans”. Alrighty then.

  10. These is really creepy and the ramifications for any professionals that work public facing jobs (college professors, sports casters, etc) are scary.

However. I’m totally OK with it replacing influencers. Can they start with taking out the morons that are always filming in the gym first?

  11. I love this. I think models and actors get paid too much.

Let the story creators get the revenue. Maybe if we didn’t have to pay the actors millions of dollars, prices will start coming down.

  12. I am generally aggressively opposed to AI replacing any human job, but I will make an exception for influencers. I hope AI makes influencers obsolete.

  13. Some people think that is an example of how advanced AI has become.

I think that this is an example of how two dimensional these influencers are

  14. So ‘she’ is as fake and artificial as a typical Instagram influencer, but ‘Lopez’ is a property without human baggage, that can be owned and exploited for no more than what it costs to pay the programmers, writers and designers.

‘Life is suffering’, but Homo sapiens doesn’t need to exist anymore, because AI can be us better than ourselves.

  15. Wait a minute. If the influencers are AI and the followers are bots, where… does this go in the end? Machines entertaining themselves?

  16. If it takes AI to kill “influencers” I am eagerly waiting the rise of the machines.

  17. Smart move. It’s not like modeling requires any skill. I imagine most models will be replaced by AI soon.

  18. There is a whole Al Pacino movie about exactly this- Simone.

  19. I think the sooner “influencer” becomes an extinct job title the better, personally.

  20. Let’s AI everything and we’ll all become farmers, artists and gamers

  21. Maybe I’m a weirdo but I looked at some of these AI generated content and they don’t really seem fulfilling mentally wise. The tech isn’t mature enough imho

It all seems a bit too fake or shallow. I’m sure it’ll improve over time.

What needs to stop are those AI generated educational videos of poor qaulity. I sincerely believe genuinely educational content needs to be held to a much higher qaulity than stuff like let’s play/news/music/models.

YouTube right now has a absolute pandemic with AI generated space news. And it’s freaken awful.

Don’t really care about AI models (Even if I do find it pretty sad people pay for that lol). I don’t even pay for real models

  22. What do I need to create my own AI model that brings some extra cash to my bank account?!?

  23. Wait till ai advertising changes you search results, your access to fb and Twitter posts. Modify the people in the ads you see

  24. I’m glad I’m not on any social media that has influencers

  25. Just in case anyone wondered why SAG-AFTRA fought so hard on the AI issue.

  26. This will become interesting. The whole reason that people like influencers is because of their egos and personalities. This might just help to weed out the ones who think they deserve free stuff at 10k followers. But those who are in the +100k usually have a loyal following for a reason.

  27. I remember when the movie Simone came out in 2002, the idea of a virtual actress seemed far fetched. Now we’re not that far off, it seems. Wild.

  28. probably because AI model doesn’t tell its viewers they’re broke bois

  29. I for one am perfectly happy if AI replaces Influencers. One of the most ridiculous “jobs” ever invented

  30. Question: what happens to capitalism when laborers become obsolete?

  31. Kind of a condemnation of a large part of “influencers” and the effort their content requires.
