My wife and I live in Oslo with our fur baby. I want to surprise her with a few nights in a Norwegian town the 23-26. december that is accessible without a car and hopefully offers dog-friendly lodging. We are not competent on skis, and Branston is not the most physical breed (see attached “dog tax” pic). We would like to go somewhere cozy that is not an absolute ghost town on red days. Any suggestions?

Lillehammer or Røros should be reeally koselig around Christmas! Most likely have snow too. Lillehammer is a train away at least!
