Every tour since the 90s? Hi Anton. Miss talking to you.
Anton doing Anton things.
I can’t believe they have enough fans to book a tour.
Heartbreaking. One of my fave bands still making good music. Seemed like he had turned a corner and grown up but old demons linger.
Did someone break his sitar?
I saw them in NYC a few years back and recall Anton stopping the show on a number of occasions to berate the band’s performance. He’d stop them like 2-3 minutes into a song and make them start over. Had never seen anything quite like it.
That said, it was an amazing show otherwise and they played for 3+ hours (padded by Anton’s outbursts, I suppose, but I def got my money’s worth.)
That fucking Anton, man.
amazing. classic BJM.
Anton is gonna Anton
Ya’ll need to watch Dig!
This band is known more for this shit than their actually decent music. Although Anton is a fucking weirdo
I don’t know where the band name stops and the incident description begins.
Between this and the Terry Richardson thing, it’s been a big day for headlines seemingly from 2004.
I saw them play a few years ago in Seattle and the performance was great but Anton was higher than balls the whole time and had the new guys do most of the show while he went to and from the stage pit, looking completely disoriented every time he came out. I know he’s an esteemed drug enthusiast but I may as well have paid to see a cover band overseen by the shell of the real bands founder. Life long fan but I’ve never listened to them less than after I saw them live. Friend said the same thing about the Salt Lake show a week earlier.
The way he runs after he hits that dude with the guitar 🤣🤣🤣
Second video is my dream show experience. Always wanted to see a band implode / get into a fight on stage.
Edit:…and to just see them running around the stage like it’s some Punch and Judy show, incredible 👌.
“This one goes up to eleven. Most beefs just go to ten, but this one goes to eleven. It’s better”
You broke my sitar motherfucker!
I saw them in Sydney just a few days before this, and there was a sense that some manner of incident that they couldn’t bounce back from might happen that night. At several points during the show, band members would go to Anton in what appeared to be an effort to placate him as the audience was growing increasingly fed up with his shit. Everyone I’ve spoken to who attended the show (that didn’t walk out after a few songs) agreed that there was a feeling that we might be attending the gig where ‘It Happened’. Well, I guess It certainly did Happen, we were just off by a show
Classic Anton, good to see nothing has changed lol
