I assume that every single airbus/boeing are by western standard already not suitable to fly, even if they manage to take off and land somewhere in russia.
Oh well. Shouldn’t have attacked Ukraine. 🤷♀️
Who needs planes! /s
Use trains like the supreme leader.
Good, hit them with more sanctions
Time to break out the old IL-76s and the Tu-154s…
Alright then lets make the last move to make it collapse.
Perhaps they can start using hot air balloons?
Good, fuck ‘em.
This is great news. Now the USA needs to move faster in providing air superiority to Ukraine over their own country. Fuck Putin fuck his puppet Trump.
Efficient air traffic is one of the ways they try to keep their giant country together. Though I’m guessing it’d take a while for effects to really kick in.
Keep the pressure on
I have read it might even take just 2 more weeks until the collapse
I love the picture of a commercial aircraft sitting in what is essential a mud pit. Someone’s driveway?
Jeez- first glance at photo I thought that plane was from Oral Airlines.
Good.
If Russia is good at one thing, it’s collapsing.
Everytime I pass that Antonov at Pearson I have a chuckle.
They have orders to buy from China. So this is an expected “phase out”
> In January, 185 air accidents were recorded, about a third of which were serious. In total, in the first nine months of this year there were 150 cases of aircraft malfunctions, while last year in the same period there were 50.
Anyone know what the number for an average month in the US is? I’m just curious how bad a normal Russian month is vs ours? Obviously the US has a lot more flights than Russia, so our number might not be that low for non-significant ones.
#Excellent!!
If only Putin actually gave a fuck. But, as long as he stays in power, the entirety of Russia can collapse around his palatial bunkers and he doesn’t care.
Next thing before you know it; there’ll be Russian oligarchy trying to fly out of their penthouses…
Just in case anyone’s wondering I’d guess the picture in the article is from this incident

How many of the incidents were due to Putin having someone on board assassinated?
I’m assuming that when a fully loaded passenger plane tragically crashes despite the pilots and ground crew knowing damn well that it was completely unsuitable for flight, the Russian government will blame everyone but themselves as loudly as possible.
