Hi all, I’m in process of finding a new long term apartment, I saw couple of landlords asking to book in advance for the first month on Booking dot com or Airbnb. The conversation is happening on email / WhatsApp (not on Immoscout messages section). Is it fraud or not? I don’t want to pay money in advance like this.

It’s a scam.
Long term apartment as in you are looking to rent? Yeah, classic scam. Nobody would ever rent out their place through booking.com or AirBnb.
