Apparently your all powerful god needs a purpose built room before he can hear you beg.
The irony is lost in just how little they think of their god.
It’s just a flimsy prefabricated construct.
Very apt. I approve.
Interesting it’s multi faith but so many religions do not pray as depicted on the picture
Is that one of those new pray and display carparks?
Reddit atheists. My favourite show is afterlife. *looks at camera* bit awkward, init? Also, I love the toriepublicans, my crushed velvet range rover evoque and I BLOODY HATE BICCIES!!
What happens if you follow a creed that doesn’t allow anyone of a different creed or sect to pray near you, in case it corrupts you?
“Sorry, you can’t pray there”
The amount of absolute vitriol in the comments section of The Independent’s article jsut shows what we’ve come to
Let me guess, it’s by the parking lot where the Uber drivers wait. This is pretty standard stuff.
Oh god it’s *real?* I saw this earler in the Duke Smoochem spoof, I didn’t realise it was actually an outside structure..! I assumed it was indoors somewhere.
Already the worst airport I’ve ever been to. So no change then Bristol!
That’s the same thing they have for a smoking shelter.
Providing their own prayer room would be a good solution.
Hopefully The Church of Satan or Satanic Temple or some Pastafarians or even cooler some Jedi’s will hold a gathering there sometime soon.
Really don’t want to bang on about religion. But for the longest time I’ve never been able to truly figure out why religion exists, at least why there are billions of religious folk still preaching today, despite the scientific and technological discoveries over the past few hundred years. It just seems abnormal to me and bizarre.
Is this normal?
Having any type of prayer room at an airport seems excessive. The space could be better used as seating.
Gonna be like one of those phonebox fight videos. Look it up. It’s great.
I remember going to Camden with my friend during Ramadan when she was fasting and needed to pray at a specific time, she asked a kind lady at a stall if she could pray on her carpeted area. My friend would be over the moon if she saw this, not sure why it’s being mocked
