  1. Yeah because he is a sleazy guy who brought his employer into disrepute. Its gross misconduct.

The only one i feel sorry for is his poor wife.

  2. I’m torn on this. As far as I can tell from reading the stories around this he didn’t really do anything wrong. He paid for some porn? Big deal? The accusations of pedophilia seem to be totally incorrect and not something anyone should be accused of lightly. On the other hand is it really viable for him to continue?

  3. I dunno man…
What Edwards did is pretty vile, pestering a 17yr old for explicit pictures at his age, and I condemn him for it, but when you take into account that a certain drink driver who crashed into a family car whilst several times over the limit, seriously injuring the occupants and escaping a hefty prison term, is somehow back presenting prime time UK television shows and earning a multi million pound salary, then Edwards’ dismissal seems grossly excessive.

Personally, I find it much more obscene to see Ant Mcpartlin back earning fortunes after what he did, and whilst I most certainly do take serious offence at a man approaching retirement age involving himself with a 17 year old girl for sexual gratification, I find McPartlins’ actions far, far worse.

am I seeing it all wrong or something?

(disclaimer: I’m on the autism spectrum, albeit quite a mild variation, namely aspergers syndrome, and I’m told quite often that I come to some weird conclusions.

  4. Unless there is a massive piece of this puzzle I’m missing – and to be honest I haven’t kept up with everything here – I would be sad to see him go.
